Reply:Ah makes sense. I'm so use to using my plasma cutter to cut everything. When I make brackets and boxes with angle iron, I usually cut the angle iron at a 45° and buttweld it but your method looks a lot cleaner.
Reply:i used a die grinder for that if i have more than that i use my plasma cutterthe two air tools i use the most are die grinders Attached ImagesLast edited by ed mac; 11-20-2009 at 10:32 PM.
Reply:I use them too. They are dangerous little flickers of crap into the face and eyes. Goggles and Faceshields only protect so much. Now I use a full leather welding hood with a clear lens in it for using those tools. Just a thought. It's not cheap, but neither are my eyes. I have two now. One for plasma cutting and one for cutting/grinding.Lincoln Power Mig 210MP MIGLincoln Power Mig 350MP - MIG and Push-PullLincoln TIG 300-300Lincoln Hobby-Weld 110v Thanks JLAMESCK TIG TORCH, gas diffuser, pyrex cupThermal Dynamics Cutmaster 101My brain
