I have used a tig welder before and got quite good at welding with it. I left the place that had it and all I know is it was a Lincoln square wave tig welder. 2 years later now I am looking to get a welder and could really use some help. I would be using it around the house. Welding alumn, steel and stainless. I don't think I would be using it for anything bigger than building a motorcycle stand. I know nothing about a mig other than you need to change the spool to weld a different metal. I might not even know that! I was thinking of the Lincoln 225 but wonder if something a little less $$ might work as well. I know some of you might not  like questions like this but any help would be appreciated. I know just enough to be dangerous right now.
