Problem with old house built from soft bricks is that more usually comes down than you want. Attached ImagesYeah, I carry.House keys, wallet, some change, usually a newspaper, maybe a pen.

Reply:Up until about 1910, many houses here were built with sandstock bricks. They're a soft clay brick. And lime mortar was used. I took out an internal wall and an external wall.
