will a 120v machine handle 1/8 stuff easily?

Reply:What amperage, it can be from 80amp to 140amp.  Lower end , no. Upper end ,yes.
Reply:Depends on what machine you have probably.  I know my lincoln sp-100 does fine on 1/8".  It's about the only 110 machine that I've done much welding with.DewayneDixieland WeldingMM350PLincoln 100Some torchesOther misc. tools

Reply:In MY opinion all you will get out of any 110v mig is about 100 amps which is enough for 1/8".DavidReal world weldin.  When I grow up I want to be a tig weldor.
Reply:MM,I'm not sure about the Miller, but the Hobart with solid wire is topped out on 1/8" using c25 .... I do know Dan did some testing with the HH140 and co2 with great results.....with FC the HH140 will handle thicker stuff.
