Reply:Errr... right...In the oxygen plant... we have load of cylinder comming for refill and quickly send out... unless its the 12 or 16 pack cylinder that we transport in a rack... VGL is a good alternative but not all welder like it... Reply:Interesting question...I am the company's photographer... I thinkI am incharge of a few company which I try to improve to an acceptable level and get bonus from them, which I have shares within...I am not very highly educated... secondary education so far... studied a bit of boat design and workin hard to improve myself...I learn to rolled cylinder 3 month when I entered the business the hard way, eat with my worker and get dirty... the only way to do it I guess... That's 1991, the gas company since 1982.The fabshop is a new facilities only 2 years old and crawling like a new born...Hope that answer your question.P.S. also some sand blasting... the fab and the sand blasting is a profit sharing scheme... everybody earn and work hard... Reply:Errr... right, lashing the team with ice cream and extra dinner box , the crew mumble and slide into work as this form of enslavement is not too often done as overtime payment can be painful to the company... Of course they get their due... as the nite get longer the music of Limp biz(dont ask me why)... drone away... I casually check my nails with welding flashes...p.s. Like bob marley doesnt mean I like his brownies ... just a thought for food... Reply:We are welding the base structure for coal conveyer by the principle spec. the pipe structure will be installed and concrete with internal support stucture...As the machine we use for the welding, I have attached as followed below... Reply:we were going for a bite n a six pack in the afternoon with our crew... when the FRIENDLY sales rep came over offer to tag along the nice journey...We ate ,talk and end up buying beside mac burger... we got ourselves another 5 unit of MIG -MAG... LORCH on a christmas sale... GREAT...!!!That would cut down on my cost of work and higher speed in welding... P.S. tomorrow these machine will be at our yard being kick start for a serious test before we place it in the working area... (2 unit M2090, 2 unit M2095) and I unit of Kemppi 3500 MLS MMA protable inverter 300A 100% Duty cycle.I figured that I will save time and money by changing to MIG for main part of my welding process. No oven and rods changing delays.These Lorch are M series... less dial more practicle play... 0.8-1.6 size wire .wire speed, amperage, continous or trigger... standard button and dial. I like these wire mechanism and the great help with the technician that on call anytime when I need then to appear.will add a push and pull 25M cable torch later.The kemppi MLS is for moving to tower installation or very odd places. with a powerful 100% duty cycle at 300A that is enough for me to burn 0.4 rods.The Lorch are for workshop, indoor usage and I have Jap (kobeweld 500A Mig) and chinese for outdoor in my shipyard, sometime use for trainning the new guys before they get the improve their skill to certain level.I am quite new to TIG AC... using Lorch V30 300A water cooled and a Chinese fully automated 500A TIG water cooled. Made myself an extention of 15M and 25M ext cables for these rig.Next year will be fully Kemppi purchases I hope... love to have Kemppi AD helmet.other stuff to purchase will be CNC plasma rig and SAW rig...I cant tell u the price I bought the stuff, I am not a saleman but a user.
