What does GMAW and GTAW stand for or meaning?  What is MOSFET? And what does MMA stand for?

Reply:FCAW-SS is Flux Core Arc Welding Self Shielded or "Innershield" wire.FCAW-DS is Flux Core Arc Welding Dual Shield or "Outershield" wire.SMAW is Shielded Metal Arc Welding or Stick welding.Later,Jason

Reply:Gappa, I do some of that stuff.  Tig is the only way to fly.  I have done it with a small mig, but too much weld too fast. My biggest problem doing work in small kitchens was getting paid.DavidReal world weldin.  When I grow up I want to be a tig weldor.
Reply:No $h!t !!!  Been there done dat.  I try to do work for larger contracts nowadays McD's , Golden Corralph etc.   Gotta get good before I start soliciting though
Reply:I've done some for Taco Villa and Golden Corral. It turns out soooo nice welding on that stuff. Taco Villa told me it has to be tig welded for sanitation reasons and to meet FDA requirements. If it's steam powered pressing equipment at a cleaners run from it, or just use 3 minute epoxy.The difference between art and craft is the quality of the workmanship. I am an artist.
