Here is a better pic of my first welds with ln25 converted to .035 wire and 75/25. Pretty happy with it, aprox 180 ipm and around 140 amps. Hard to tell amperage as I had to point the gun at a piece of scrap and look away to the machine. Maybe a little cold? Flatter bead if hotter? Beads on left flat were push and the others pulled. Fillet on left was pulled and the other pushed. Reply:Those welds look fine. Just remember voltage controls the height and width of the weld bead, wire feed speed is amperage (heat) C-25 is a good mix for all position, just remember that above 21-22 volts with C-25 you can get out of the short circuit mode, and into a globular mode, which you definitely don't want, as it's a very harsh arc, with lot's of spatter.
