Anyone know a source for reasonable priced or used parts for Miller engine drive welders?I need a new fuel tank, radiator & rectifier assembly for my Big 40 Diesel. I've found a place that at least has prices for OEM parts, but the tank is $850, radiator $1200 and the rectifier $350. The biggest thing is the fuel tank. The radiator I can get recored locally for about $400, and the rectifier I doubt I'll get much cheaper. The tank had major rust issues, i hot tanked it and it came out looking like swiss cheese, I soldered the pinholes, acid washed it several times and lined in, it seemed to be ok but now I've got at least 2 pinholes weeping... so time for a new tank. Somewhere someone has used parts for these, any thoughts? Thanks, ~John

Reply:Thanks all, definitely a set in the right direction. Still pricey, but I guess that's the name of the game with the things. |
