I dont think I would have pulled this anywhere. The customer installed the bolt on - aftermarket hose reels which were surprisingly VERY heavy... this damage is a direct result of the added weight not accounted for in the engenering proccess when determining mtl. thickness. I fabbed a new frame plare as shown as well as added an extra 1/4" plate to both sections. After i removed the tongue and saw its true condition I replaced the factory1/4" wall with a 3/8" wall tube and transfered all other components to the new tube as well as fabbed a new mount at the end. Reply:I'm surprised the original design didn't have the tongue extending farther under the unit to a more 'neutral' location such as the axle centerline or at least closer to it.
