Reply:Neat video and absolutely true. With a little practice in thin aluminum you can run it with no ripples in the weld, it will be as smooth as solder.
Reply:Thank you Tapwelder. What a great video, and some really sound advice with the preheating. Most modern welders don't know much about the virtues of preheat, as all their welding is electronic.And then, after so much work...... you have it in your hand, and you look over to your side...... and the runner has run off. Leaving you holding the prize, wondering when the runner will return.
