Does anyone know of an app for the iPad/iMac that will allow one to draw up plans for welding projects? For example, an app that would allow me to draw up plans for a rack. I would want it to allow me to draw perfectly straight lines, figure in angles, and compute measurements of the pieces for me. Reply:Two come to mind that i have used. 1. Draftsight - it's free and works on Mac, PC and Linux2. Google Sketchup - it's free and works on all platforms too.I would say Draftsight is what you want. It will work on your iMac just fine, but not the iPad.Miller 252Miller 30A SpoolgunMiller Auto-Darkening Elite HelmetHypertherm PowerMax 30
