AWS Approved Rod Oven?

I thought that you peole would get a kick out of this. I was working in a steam station, and the guys were using the lower back mud drum access to heat up their rod, after about a hour the rod is about 200 F. I doubt this is an approved AWS rod oven. In the past I seen them put the rod inside a pipe that was having a flange welded on it to heat up the rod.Jack Attached Images
Reply:Hmmm... How do you keep rods dry in a steam plant? All the plants I have been in are like a sauna. I'm sure that the rods are warm but dry....
