What is the different between CWI and CSWIP 3.0/3.1/3.2?IIW-IWEAWS-CWINACE-CIP2
Reply:Looks to be the UKs version of the AWS-CWI.  According to the AWS website there used to be a program in which AWS would accept the CSWIP as equal to a CWI.  That looks to be suspended now for review.  Now for a CSWIP to qualify as a CWI they need to take the Part B test of the CWI exam.  From my quick research, CSWIP stands for Certification Scheme for Welding Inspection Personnel.   Interesting usage of the word 'scheme', has different connotation this side of the pond.Jay DavisAWS-CWIC-60 Specialty Welding ContractorLoving husband, and father of two boys (
