Coil Tubing straightner

Does anyone on here know anything about building a coil tubing Straightener? I have access to a lot of coil tubing from 1.50 to 2.0 and 2 3/8. I have Google's for this subject and not a clear explanation of what I need to begin straightening this material. I know that there are rollers and some sort of a feeding mechanism to keep the coil moving. I want to cut it in different straight lengths for building cattle panels, portable loading chutes, etc. This coil tubing is really strong and makes the best of whatever you can dream up. It has to be straightened to work right. Reply:Sorry, this makes me think of the joke we use to make to new guys at work, sending them looking for the raised mesh stretcher. We would tell them we need it to stretch the sheet so it would fit in a opening bigger then 4'X 8'. He would go on a wild goose chase all over the complex asking everyone, everone knew so they would send him somewhere else in the complex.Never heard of a coil tubing straightener.Last edited by Dantheman; 02-23-2012 at 08:06 AM.
Reply:Here at work we run ours thru 6 to 8 rollers into cutoff machine - we get ours in 3 foot rolls our joke at work is sendingt temp after a skyhook
Reply:Guys I was not talking about a joke. I have sent worms in the oilfield to the top of the crown, carrying a 5 gallon bucket of water....to water the water table on the crown...when they finally climb the ladder with basically one hand, and get to the crown...about 200 feet straight up.....nothing to water....And also the blindfold trick....ask a worm if They can drive a bridge timber nail through a 2 in timber blindfolded with a sledgehammer?
