Hey all, I'm new to the site so go easy!  Been working on this off and on for a "while".  I have to get some more guards in place and skin the tunnel, maybe a test run this weekend.  It's for my 4 year old daughter. The last one is my POS.  Sorry for the cell phone pics. Attached Images
Reply:Certainly an abitious project. Looks good.I'm not sure I'd hand a 4 year old a gas run piece of hardware like that however to play with...No government ever voluntarily reduces itself in size. Government programs, once launched, never disappear. Actually, a government bureau is the nearest thing to eternal life we'll ever see on this earth! Ronald Reagan
Reply:Very cool and looks like a neat build.  Your daughter will really love it.What kind of $ do you have tied up in it?Miller 185Lincoln Weldanpower 225Lincoln 225 buzz boxCheap-o C&H 110v (my first welder)
Reply:Looks like major work to pull the engine out of that if you have welded the frame together after it is installed.
Reply:Damn how long did that take you to make? looks pretty good to me.Miller Dynasty 300 DXMiller CST280Miller Maxstar 150 STH

Reply:I was just going to buy a mini sled for her, it was my wife that said I should make her one from scratch!I think I'll have about 1500 into a finished sled, still 500 cheaper than a new kids stocker sled.  The engine still comes out really easy, in fact I can take it apart in a couple hours(the whole sled).  I lost track as to what kind of hours are in this. No plans were drawn up, just started building from an idea as to how it would look.  For the most part it's all internet gokart parts for the running gear, a HF 6.5 hp motor, and a whole bunch of brainstorming for the rest.  Thanks guys!
Reply:Where could I get information on the running gear and tracks?  I have a project I want to build with two tracks and those tracks look perfect.

Reply:yea pretty awesome
Reply:Just got it ready for a test run tomorrow.  The track is a 15''x121''  that I took a sawzall to skinny it up to about 8''.  The running gear is gokart parts.  The HF motor is running, sounds good and has some torque, it will spin the track on the garage floor.  As to the longevity of it who knows it's a HF motor.  In two weeks the local store has them on sale for $90 I might pick up a spare Attached Images
Reply:Pretty cool stuff. Was wondering if you would tell me what the seat on your sled in the background came off of. KTM? I was wanting to do something similar with the seat on my sled but wasn't sure on what seat to use. Is it tolerable to sit on every now and then or is it rock hard?IsaacMiller millermatic 251Miller aircrafter 330st, wp201961 Lincoln SA200Ellis 1600 bandsawLogan 820 latheSouth Bend 13"Bridgeport M Head
