OK, an odd question: what bad could happen if I used a standard regulator used with a regular argon/co2 mix on a tank of just co2 that is used to carbonate water and beer for consumption? I seem to recall that there might be a difference between some argon and co2 tanks, but they're both high pressure. I've just got the one tank to look at, and its regulator dial has a note to use a .032 nipple for argon. So I want to know if the regulator I've been using with the argon/co2 mix will work on the pure co2 as well. Since argon is inert, I figure it must be OK, but wanna check. And I assume I need a whole separate regulator for argon should I do aluminum. But at least this way I wouldn't need three.Rob
Reply:It will work just fine but you will need to get a different coupling for the regulator to fit the CO2 bottle.
