Sorry for the long right up but im not even sure what im talken about never welded a thing!!Hey every1 after sometime of figureing out which weldr to get and the guidence from this forum i bought a lincoln sp135t mig. So i unpacked and began reading it says to use fluxcore i need a kit, but i looked that gun and it already has the parts that are in the kit. the tip is .035 and it has a gasless tip on. So im assuming all i need it flux core wire. When i look up wire for it it says nr-211-mp. I found some places to get it but whats the diff between nr211mp and e71t? they both say .035 flux core wire? can i use any .035 fluxcore wire? it came with a 10lb spool of mig wire so im guessing a 10lb of flux core would fit aswell. Thanks any good sites to buy these things at? looken fora helm as well dont like my handheld face mask.
Reply:NR211MP is an E71-T. In my opinion the NR211 is the best. I tried just a couple of others.Yeah, run the fluxcore, but try it with gas too. Fluxcore Electrode negativeMig, electrode Plus.DavidReal world weldin. When I grow up I want to be a tig weldor.

Reply:Lincoln NR211 MP is a structurally rated wire. That number is a Lincoln number. Then there is an AWS number. And a ANSI number. The NR 211MP is a Multiple pass wire.If the wire ends in SP it is a single pass wire.AWS certified welding inspectorAWS certified welder

Reply:A few ywars ago a store tried to sell me a 10# spool of NR211MP for $50.00 !!!I got mad and called LINCOLN and they said they sell it for $17.00.I went back to the store and told them they were overcharging and Lincoln was told by me about themThe salesman said it would sell it to me for $36.00 I accepted.Don't get ripped off by greedy businessmen.BTW i used 10 spools of that wire to build a 40 foot steel yacht. It was used for all the deck structures that were 10ga.AWS certified welding inspectorAWS certified welder
Reply:NR211 *sigh* It hasn't got sharpes (sp?) so shouldn't be used on structual. There has just been a big stink here on a few tank farms because of this.I'd rather be hunting........USE ENOUGH HEAT.......Drifting around Aussie welding more pipe up, for something different.....wanting to get home.
Reply:I don't really know much about this stuff, but I know how to find documents.
