Free A/D Helmet

Need some help here - some one had file13 a miller pro hobby series helmet - so i found it a new home (me) - helmet had no headgear on it - stoped by local lws on way home - picked up replacement ( 770246 ) - wont fit helmet - for round hole - this helmet has slot in side - right side has three holes under slot - also the lens ( works - i tryed ) has a delay knob instead of slid switch ! - all research shows two knobs and slide switch ?anyone know what headgear i need for this helmet - thankyou
Reply:I would bring the helmet with you and go back to your lws, that can get to be a pain in the butt. I have a bunch of helmets all gypsied together, once you swich brand names theyre all slightly different. Let them try and get the correct one for you. Theres usually square hole, round knob, and spacer issues that can drive ya nuts.I hate being bi-polar it's awsomeMy Heroes Have Always Been Cowboys
Reply:I have a Performance series... I can't quite figure out what some of the stuff you said in your post is, but I'll try...You need the headgear with the square notches. My performance series has a small switch for the shade, one for the sensitivity and one for the delay. Reply:Mr Lights - Thanks for the info - if you were looking at mine the knobs are over top of lensLeft to right - on/off button led battery lignt - delay - sentivety - shade - battery(round) - all this is above lens - all info i found on pro-hobby series had a slide switch for delay -

Reply:I just found one on ebay, same part # as you have, after zooming in on it I could see the tab that would go in that slot on the right side. Looks like it should fit, weird. Try bringing it back with the mask and compare it to a new one if you can. Reply:Took hood with me to my local lws after work - we decided (what i already knew ) that the one listed for pro hobby hood ( 770246 ) wouldn't work - lws didn't have anything else - call another store 30 miles away - found out they made two different ones - next version will be here today - part # 770120 - this is for miller XLi series hood  - so we will see as far as lens in my hood - got no idea - has no numbers on it - but it works good - closest thing we could find was the lens for a miller elite series - but still not same
