Hi guys I need a pc board for a hobart 135 handler, where can I purchase one for a reasonable price? Has anyone ever changed one?...is it involved? thanks guys!...oh by the way the part number for the pc board is....195866
Reply:Have you tried contacting Miller or Hobart (owned by the same company)?  1-800-4-A-MILLER.  They'll mail it to you.I've changed out the PC board in a Miller Trailblazer 301G.  I guarantee that the HH135 is going to be a whole lot easier!  I've changed out the gearmotor on a MM130, too.  It's pretty straightforward under the sheet metal.
Reply:I'm afraid as to what miller/hobart will charge for this pc board....anyone know of an alternative source and how difficult it is to replace this board on the hobart 135 handler?
Reply:Have you called and gotten an actual price yet?
Reply:For that matter, are you sure it needs a new PC board?  You may be able to diagnose just a failed component.  If you check the message board at Hobart and Miller you'll find that their guys will answer most questions as to which components can cause which problems.
Reply:I was told by the welding suppy store that I need a new pc board, they supposedly diagnosed it.  I am told that the board, if they order it is $125.00 from miller. In addition, 1.5 hrs labor to install, at $70.00 per hr....getting kinda pricey
Reply:If it needs a new board, $125 would be reasonable to me.  You should be able to order it directly from Miller and install it yourself, though.  Let us know if you find another source.
Reply:http://www.continentalengines.com/ce...anu_miller.htmThat's just ONE of the places that pops up when I put "miller welding parts discount" into Google.  They claim to have the full line of parts.  You should be able to call several of these places and learn fairly quickly if any of them will be able to help you or if you are stuck with getting the part directly from Miller.
Reply:I was able to locate places on the web that rebuild pc boards, for like $65.00 for that particular board...not bad price...about half the price of a new one from miller.
Reply:Pay your money and take your chances.  The one time I risked a "rebuilt" board I was buying a new one less than 6 months later. What other prices have you seen on new boards from places like Continental?
Reply:The most common circuit board failure on an earlier model HH 135/175  is due to Transistor  Q1.  If I am remembering correctly, this component (Q 1) can be purchased for less then $5.Of course this means you have to remove (de-soldier) the old component from the board and install the new component. What exactly is the issue you are having with your unit?Last edited by Dan; 09-25-2008 at 08:24 PM.
Reply:Personally, I adult it kinda ill that political hacks would be assay to considerate that conveyance for their own semipolitical way. Yet, God does not wow gold impoverishment me to protect him - so your semipolitical associates can eliminate at it and course it up with him.
