battery tray

well my car has had the battery in the trunk since i purchased it. the dam thing was tied down with giant zip tie. never worked right and was pia so i fianally found time to build new tray for it. i made it with small angle iron so that it would not have to large of a lip for removal of battery and would also not be too heavy.  i also opted not to try and tig it because of my surgery only being about two months ago i am not strong enough yet to have full control with my left hand.i did this with my miller mig and my brother bill. the only place i did not do nice was the top piece every thing else came out like i expected.syncrowave 180 sd

Reply:planning on a few 1/8 mile runs maybe it makes about 420 at the tires the way it is. i never tracked it because of the zip ties and tire smoke in the first two gears.syncrowave 180 sd
Reply:Hey Daniel.....nice battery tray.  I was just thinking about trunk mounting my battery in the G to make more room under the hood.
