I am welding a stainless steel barbecue. now i have some sheets of stainless steel plating lying around, but its only 1 mm thin. I am afraid that if i use this plating it will destort to much when i fire up the bbq. Do you guys think 1mm will suffice if i reenforce it in some way? or if i look for a system to keep the plating cooled?Or would you recommend going alot thicker in plating. I dont want to spend to much money on the plating and here in europe its quite expensive. I would love to hear some imput from you guys how you would solve this, or what you would do.regards,Thurstan |
