Yesterday I took apart a wine cooler/warmer that I haven't used in years..... it still worked..... but I never used it and was planning to just trash it........ since it was a cheapo and not worth selling.....Anyway...... I pulled this out of it. Not sure what it was for.... but am wondering if it's aluminum..... I really am not sure....Any ideas? It's small.... but was wondering if it might find a use as a heat sink or something in welding........I know.... silly question........ but just had to ask before I toss it...... Reply:If you want you could have it cut halfway in between each blade, and when you get your tig going and you feel like your up to it you would have a whole pile of corner joints ready to go. I hate being bi-polar it's awsomeMy Heroes Have Always Been Cowboys
Reply:If you have a drawer that it fits in use as tool storage, chisels, files, soapstone, etc. I bought a silverware drawer divider at a flea market for .25. Works great for wrench storage
Reply:Too bad you already tore it apart. I would have suggested keeping it in the work shop to keep cool beverages close at hand without having to make a trip into the kitchen.
Reply:You can Use it as a replacment for a diode set in a welder too.Miller thunderbolt 250Decastar 135ERecovering tool-o-holic ESAB OAI have been interested or involved in Electrical, Fire Alarm, Auto, Marine, Welding, Electronics ETC to name a just a few. So YES you can own too many tools. |
