Help setting up my new TIG

Hi I have just bought a cheap Tig to teach myself how to weld! I did the same thing with Mig and I figure now is a good time for a change.My main intention is to weld Aluminium and the odd bit of stainless. All automotive based.I intend to learn on a sheet of 1/8 sheet aluminium that I have already.I am yet to buy consumables (filler and tips) and would love some advice on what to get for this application?The unit in question is a Allmax 200 AC/DC tig with the foot pedal. Reply:some great info there thanks!Got some practice in today and Im already happy with my progress! One thing I cant figure out is the pulse feature? I can get great looking welds without it (yet to be tested tho) but if i flick the pulse on its either to quick and makes it look like mig welds or it burns up the tungsten...any thoughts on what I need to do?Any help would be great!?!
