1989 sa 200?

I'm looking at a 1989 Lincoln SA 200 gas machine to purchase but would like some opionions on the machine from owners and previous owners ...Thanks
Reply:The SA200 is unsurpassed for welding DC. Being that it is DC only makes it limited for some welding processes. Depending what you're planning to weld on, you will probably be pleased with the machine. I have welded for 38+ years & very, very seldom needed any other machine. Of course I weld mostly SMAW. They require maintenence, use lots of gasoline & are loud. They are portable, great for welding in the field & you'll have many friends needing to borrow it for a couple of days.Only when the last tree has died and the last river has been poisoned and the last fish has been caught will we realize we cannot eat money.                                         -Cree Indian ProverbSA 200 LincolnVictor Torches
