im doing a suicide door on the back of my 91 caprice i want to use 1/8 inch plate to remake the door jam for strength. I would like to know hoe i could weld the 1/8 plate to the 16 gauge body steel. Is it like most body work just a bunch of tacks till full.Im using .030 co2 wire no flux with weld primer.
