Reply:I've seen people doing demo's at flea markets to sell this stuff.  Guys I know that have bought it say that it is not nearly as easy as they make it look.Proud to be a UNION worker.  Better pay, better benefits, better work environment.  UA Unions = working for the working class!!

Reply:Its strong as hell. But then again it is mostly zinc. A couple ingredients different and its spot galvanizing. My favorite to do is repair threads in a blind hole. Heat the hole, set the bolt in and heat it some and start filling the area around the bolt. Let cool and remove the bolt as if the threads were never damaged. There is also a rod that works on steel, cast and stainless made by the same manufacture. Great for fixing jon boats.

Thats what I would do if I was selling stuff to people who bought stuff off T.V."Here, use this to fix a ladder" Just make sure you have enough left over to repair your neighbors scuba tank.
Reply:Yuck,  Zinc pot rod......spent many an hour undoing the damage caused by people at that stuff. Its got one use...welding pot metal...and I use it for that! It has no ductility...and can cause the base aluminum to become brittle. If you want to braze aluminum, use aluminum/slilcon brazing material, If you want to weld it, use aluminum filler.....geesh.-Aaron
