Pretty new to welding and have always used a Speedglas 9100xx, which is great compared to a few other hoods I have used, but, I keep reading about these fixed shade GOLD lenses and how the clarity is so great. OUESTION: and warning it's probably stupid. Is there a specific kind of helmet you have to have, or can you just place it where you would put your cheater lense in a auto darkening helmet? I have been reading the posts on here for probably a little over a year, pretty much every day, but this I think???? is the first question or post I have actually made, so, Hello!!! to everyone. I have really enjoyed having a place to go to find answers or set me on the correct path to correcting any welding problems i have run into. Thanks,NBK
