I was Tig welding in the garage a couple weeks ago at nite with the garage door open.Saw something fluttering,it was a little white moth.It got a little to close to the arc & instantly turned charred black! I pushed it away with my hand,it was just ashes.I think the others learned from his mistake..

Reply:I was smaw some hand trucks for my son's business. A huge grasshopper about 4" in length landed on my log cabin driveway. Normally I wouldn't pay any attention, but it was the biggest one I've ever seen. So with welding gloves on, I couldn't resist. I grabbed that sum bich and held it's head to a piece is scrap and the arc of a 3/32" 7018. Seconds later I had.... Charred grasshopper. Reminded me as a kid again killing black widows with a zippo and WD40. "Hey I didn't come to look and learn, I came to turn and burn....
