So I have made my first thingyIt is from a small hotdog compressorI made all the alum. brackets and bracket screws and riser blocks door adjustment armsBeing a tool maker is greatI love camping and I love eating while I campSo what better than to make a portable rottiserieI know the cuts are a little crooked and the welding is crooked but the meat tastes GREAT so who cares Attached Images

Reply:At first, knowing that it wasn't a welding table, I was going to guess it would be a welding cart.  I guess I wasn't right about that.  But, I've gotta say, if I knew it wasn't a welding table OR a welding cart, my next guess wouldhave been some kind of smoker or barbeque.  Anyhow, great work on the cooker.

Reply:That came up awesome, now I know what i'm going to do with the rusted compressor tank I have sitting outside.What have you cooked on there so far?Are they easy to use, do you just fill up with wood, light it and then wait till the fire goes out.  You just cook with the coals yeah? Also is the lid always open when cooking?Thanks
