Tillman or miller gloves

I just bought a set of Tillman gloves for half the price of a set of millers. Is the quality the same as the miller?
Reply:Tillman are good gloves i've never had miller gloves. I've also used caiman gloves and seem to be pretty good at about same price of Tillman.

Reply:i've never heard of miller gloves either, but I have used tillman. They weren't spectacular but they work okay.

Reply:Miller is a great line of welding machine equipment, but im personally not a huge fan of their extra stuff, like glove, welding clothing and even helmet! i think its better when you look for welding glove search for a welding glove company!for the ''china production line'' thing, always remember that even if china stuff look cheaper and less durable, company like Tillman and Miller who has production line in china have their ''inspection'' test and some standard need to be respected! china made not always mean there is no quality!Calculator > Bevel Square

Reply:Miller doesn't make their own gloves.  Their gloves may in fact be Tillman's with a Miller logo on them.

Reply:I've used some of each, but prefer Tillman. They are less expensive, last just as long, and have a wider variety of styles and materials. Also partly because I can take a Sharpie and make the T into an H __David Hillman
Reply:i prefer Tillman over any other glove and have 750's/850's for very heavy stick welding but for everything else i use Tillman 42's for the softness and pliability ....but lately they must be using water buffalo or rhino skin because they are so damn stiff you can't bend your fingers. i bought a pair of Tillman deerskin driving gloves and outside of the short cuff i really like them for mig and tig for dexterity. as for the 750's i have a new pair (half hour use) of them that after a few times of snapping the flux off of 7018 for restrike with the thumb i tore a hole in them and burnt the hell out of my thumb. the leather was no thicker than light tig gloves. so much for the theory of American quality control over Chinese produced crap lol. the local Lincoln rep gave me a couple pairs of their heavy gloves that feel pretty good that i guess i'll have to try out.225NT bobcatAEAD200LEScott 125mm175, mm252 w 30A, PT225mm211, TA 181iHyper Therm 380, cut master 529100X & XX, Digital Elite6 Victor setssmith little torch, meco midget kalamazoo band sawsteel max saw evoulution circular saw

Reply:I started with miller gloves went to the bsx xtreme and haven't looked back. I love the fit and feel of the bsx. They give me the finger tip feel I like. I wear a size smaller almost like a custom snug fit and it works for me no problem feeding rod. For me its kind of like welding with no gloves with that extra protection.
