Been internet challenged for almost an entire month  Three week shutdown, followed by two days up, then another 4 days shutdownAnyhoo  This is another small project completed during the problem periodA small table for the stereo amplifier.  The amp weighs around 75lbs (a 100% vaccum tube amp)The legs are 1x1 11ga, and the top is 10ga.One set of legs was made, then used as a template for the second assembly.And it was load tested before being placed in service  SWMBO is now ABSOLUTELY CONVINCED I'M A LITTLE SHORT OF A FULL DECK Attached Images"Any day above ground is a good day"http://www.farmersamm.com/
Reply:AAAAAAARRRRRGH!!!!!!!!!The final coat of paint goes on the top.  All seems peaceful....................THEN OUT OF NOWHERE COMES A GIGANTIC CLOUD OF LITTLE BEETLESIt was like the dive bomber runs at Pearl Harbor  The sky was black with the swarms, the noise was deafeningThen the little critters got stuck to the fresh paint, AND STARTED MAKING SNOW ANGELS!!!!!!!!!!Luckily the stupid stereo covers the stupid bug tracksIf it comes from Uranus, it most likely has some issues Attached Images"Any day above ground is a good day"http://www.farmersamm.com/

I see the Quality Control was ducking under the saw horses in case the table collapsed.We have alot of bugs making daily bombing runs of the farm shop. Reply:Looks like the little critters ruined an almost perfect paint job. You won't have to worry about the glue drying out and the joints starting to come apart on that table.
