Reply:man it seems like there are lots of lucky finders on this site. i look and look for things and never seem to stumble across great deals. It seems like everyone here in wisconsin knows what they have and the value of what it is even as scrap.

Reply:I really lucked up on this sucker no body was really buying scrap at this auction and this was the next to the last item sold so most of the window shoppers had long since left.To answer  a few questions about the table it is mild steel with what appears to be a surface ground finish on the top.  It is completely level across the top, I think we drug out every single level in the shop and on our truck to check it.As far as 4-6 guys moving it  I went to unload it with the 90hp Kubota with wheel weights and water in the tires and it cleared the rear tires.  I had to go out to the hay lot and get a 5x5 roll of hay for a counterweight and even then I was only able to moving using the front tires.Being that it is 7/8 in plate(~35.7 lbs/square ft) on top and bottom and it is 4ft x 8ft I would say conservatively it weighs around 2500 lbs. Reply:Not to thread hijack, but I love it! You work your tractor like I do. I periodically will use the outriggers on the backhoe to lift the rear tires of the tractor up in the air as I keep the forks in contact with the bottom of a skid. Then extend the backhoe out to full reach and let the outriggers out. Using the weight of the tractor to do the lifting and the hydraulics to do the holding.  The real killer is the weight being too far out from the pin. At the pin I can pretty easily pick up 3600 pounds with my little 39 HP John Deere 4500. But in the same configuration I can't pick up a 330 gallon tote / IBC full of water and weighing ~2500 pounds.-Jim
