Stick rod suggestions

I'm putting together a bicycle trailer using old steel bicycle frames. The frames I have vary in steel composition... one is 4130 tubing, the rest are unknown. One of the unknown's is very thin tubing and I believe it's higher grade steel than the 4130. The others seem more clunky/heavier than the 4130 so I believe they are lower-grade steel than the 4130.I'd like to take bits and pieces from these frames as needed, so basically the project may have mixed tubing.Is there a general stick rod I can use that will work fine welding these different tubes together?I'm aware of stick not being recommended for thin material, but I don't really care =). I have a Lincoln Electric AC 225 arc welder, which goes down to 40 amps (@ 25v).

Reply:I'd rather have to buy new mild steel tubing rather than trying to make a trailer out of used bike frames. Even if someone gave me a 1000 lbs of old bikes.Tough as nails and damn near as smart
