Ok so while there was some welding involved, this was more a matter of cutting.I found a half round piece of steel at the recycle yard and decided to make a fire pit from it. I chose to leave the edges "dirty" as I like the roughness of the texture. Some have asked me to clean up the edges which has kind of a cool look to it as well. These have been quite popular with friends and neighbors and have made a few of these for others. Loads of fun. Reply:That's different. I like it. Possibly dangerous, but so is a fire.
