Schools in Gulf Coast Area

Hello,I'm looking for a good welding school on the gulf coast that teaches TIG/Stick pipe welding.  I have done some tig welding but want to get good enough to pass a test and also learn stick.Its hard to tell about the quality of a program based on just looking at the website, and they all sound the same on the phone.  I was looking for some personal experience from someone to help me figure out where to go. Any help would be appreciated.Thanks
Reply:Tulsa Welding School in Jacksonville FL.  Not on the gulf coast, but close.  Besides that, maybe local community colleges.  I know at Tulsa they have multiple employers from New Orleans and Pascagoula MS come and test students for jobs a few times a year.Read my welding blog:http://weldeveryday.wordpress.com/

Reply:If you're near Pascagoula, MS then the Gulf Coast Community College is a great place to go, they have a year long welding class which is 3 semesters that is where I went to school at.
