Reply:I did all the bends by heating and bending around various diameter pipe.
Reply:Maybe something to think about in the future---Make a separate section for the top. Match the arch and come down the sides just a little(depends on how tall the opening is) and then make a horizontal piece..Then, when you make the gate or door, you can just have a straight horizontal pce on top....just a thought---
Reply:Templates can be your friend in this situation.  Cardboard, or strips of luan plywood, and a hot glue gun to join them. You can match any profile.

Reply:God damn those must be some BIG dogs! I make dog gates for clients but usually 1/4-3/8" round bar. Those would contain an ape! I like that you followed the arch. No offense TEK, but I've seen ones like you describe, and they look like hell. When open, they look jail cell.
