Reply:Many programs can do similar designs. Not sure which one you show there? I used AutoCAD, Google Sketchup and played with Solidworks.Might be Powerpoint or Visio as well.
Reply:No help with the software but I could use one of those on my bench .....Mike
Reply:Could be Adobe Illustrator $$$

Reply:haha I never noticed till now. Pull the leaver and bam! You have a clean table.
Reply:It looks to have been drawn with a vector program like Corel Draw or Adobe Illustrator....it also could have been drawn with a non-vector software like Adobe Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro, etc.I owned and operated a screen printing/sign/graphic design and decal business for years and still work in Corel Draw and Adobe PhotoShop now. Any of the vector/CAD type software such as Corel Draw or Adobe Illustrator are expensive...several hundred $$
Reply:There are Lots of Alternatives to Programs such as Photoshop CS series, especially for individuals that want something specific and don't require ALL aspects of the software... GIMP is a free program that is similar to Photoshop and is quite powerful in what it can do... Look also for Open Source Programs (Free, Community Driven) like OPEN OFFICE (the FREE alternative to MicroSoft Office) and you'll eventually find MUCH of what you're looking for...Cheers,Miller Diversion 165120 amp Buzz BoxVictor Oxy/Ace Oxy/LPGSmith "Little" Oxy/LPGHypertherm Powermax 30Lot's of Misc. tools n' crap....
Reply:i use gimp.. it is a stout program, great free program, steep learning curve, but all kinds of free documentation... i dont think the op's pic is done in gimp.. i use open office for invoicing, a simple invoice template and your good to go. all the objects in the drawing look like clip art, that makes me think coreldraw or adobe illustrator. neither are cheap. if you find out let us know.Last edited by brucer; 01-11-2011 at 09:24 PM.tackleexperts.comwww.necessityjigs.comhttps://www.facebook.com/groups/mach...dingequipment/
Reply:It does look like clip art for the most part...but someone had to draw it in a vector program .I am not a pro at vector drawing/software but I do have a good bit of knowledge and experience in the software. I drew these in Corel Draw. Here's a quick mock draw I did for a front and rear bumper idea. These spheres I drew as part of a design.
Reply:I use Autocad 2011 Mech and PSP... I've tried GIMP and found it pretty difficult to get used to, but then again I never gave it much time.. Paint.net is a good program as well. As long as you check out their forums and import all the add-ons. Oh.. Double-cad is a nice Free cad program that runs alot like autocad.Common sense in an uncommon degree is what the world calls wisdom.
Reply:I use lotus freelance graphics....... Because I got it for $5 on 5dollarsoftware.comIt's not real fancy, but it does everything I want it to do.http://www.youtube.com/user/c599209/videos |
