I wanted to make sure I never get stuck on another cigarette butt. The cart has unnecessary structural pieces because I'm one of those people who start building with an idea in my head that wasn't quite right, so changes get made along the way. Attached Images
Reply:nice lookin cart - i doubt you could break it if you tried!Millermatic 135Syncrowave 250
Reply:Those are serious wheels in the back. Put another set on the front and it could be an amphibious cart.Great job It will last for ever.
Reply:Nice!  I did mine similarly that for the same reason, using some old lawn mower wheels; Are those pneumatic tires?
Reply:very cool. I love the mounts for the front castersdaye

Reply:Nice Cart. Mine is no where as good as yours, but here is a link to mine. http://weldingweb.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=48529We are on our way to being farmers! Our site is always under construction so check back often for updates.  http://www.philosophyfarmstyle.com/
Reply:Very nice cart, specially the drawer.  Can I borrow the idea? So, knowing what you know now, is there anything that you would do differently next time?  (specifically I'm wondering if the rectangular 'bump out' just above the drawer face is necessary?   Or is that a handle to assist in loading the entire cart, say into the back of a pickup bed...)Many thanks, zipLast edited by zipzit; 01-22-2011 at 01:54 AM.
Reply:Sweet cart.I love the drawer. But the front castors look poopy,, why so small, you need big *** casters
Reply:I didn't quite make mine with full all-terrain capabilities, but no way I'd ever make one with cheapa** little casters...Here it is.. Reply:I think more attention could be given to the front handles on these "all terrain" carts. The handle should be positioned where you have to bend just slightly to get ahold of it and provide just the right amount of uplift when you pull on it. Get some of the weight off the front wheels. That's something I did not give enough consideration to on two of the carts I built. I've got one too low and one too high. Of course off road to me means out across the ruff lumpy driveway and out into the dirt, not just crossing the crack from the shop floor to the apron."The things that will destroy America are prosperity at any price, peace at any price, safety first instead of duty first, the love of soft living and the get rich quick theory of life." -Theodore Roosevelt
Reply:I like those back tires, I am looking for some myself for the shop stool idea that was posted here, can you share your source for those?ThanksRon
Reply:Ok, gotta jump in for fun... Big tires and yet easily hand moved around the shop. I pull it with a  piece of gear we call the mule, which is a converted rider golf course lawnmower... we go all over the ranchita.  Power if needed can be done with the other trailer and the Lincoln 225 which has 6500 watts. I think WalMart has those wheels and tires. Attached ImagesLincoln Power MIG 215Lincoln WeldPak 3200HDLincon ProCut 25Lincoln WeldanPower 225 AC/DCIf all else fails... buy more tools
