Reply:I deal with writing and quailifing alot of procedures. from the documents I've seen in the past and speaking with the people who deal with mixed gas say you could run the gas flow as high as 30-35 cfh without causing any detriment to the weld. If you are welding outside you might want to boost the flow up a touch to compensate for any breeze. Structual code does not allow gas welding outside if the wind is blowing at a maximum of 5mph.Weldor/ Certified Inspector
