Welding Skid

Just though I would post a pic of my skid that I have been building in my spare time to get my rig portable. Once I get the bottles and tool boxes on I will post it in the rigs thread. Reply:By the eye hook on the welder, When I load and unload I take the lead reels and bottles off. The skid weighs about 300 lbs without any extras on it. Reply:Miller must know people will lift more than just the machine.  The lifting eye on my TB302 is rated at 1280lbs.  The machine is approx. 600lbs.  This is per the operator’s manual.Last edited by OHT; 01-27-2011 at 04:30 PM.

Reply:Find a way to lock your reels, or you'll end up like me and have all of them stolen by copper thieves....
