i want to build a table with a wood top and 1/2" solid bar legs, with some twists, inspired by something i saw on tom gingras site . wello's recent post of his twister got me off my aars. when i bought my harbor freight bender, i bought the twister attachment. it is designed to be mounted on their floor support which i didnt buy, so i never set it up but held onto the parts .pretty self explanatory, works real nice. Reply:i made on of those for about $5 take a piece of 1/8 or 1/4 thick cut a circle about a inch or w.e. size your socket it ... use a old 1/2"socket weld it to the circle and add handles like my awsome "paint skills"and just weld another socket to a to a piece of flat stock or plate and put the flat stock in the vise works well as long as you have a vice thats bolted down to something heavyLast edited by himsa169; 01-29-2011 at 04:23 PM. |
