HELP!I am familiar with safety because of always using an acetylene cutting torch.Any help would be greatly appreciated!Thank you

Reply:- Don't set anything on fire. Weld in a safe place.- Be careful and don't let your wire spool unwind on you when you put it in or take it out.- Use the correct wire feed groove size (and gun tip) for your wire size and be mindful of the tension. - Don't kink or abuse your MIG gun & leads. They are not cheap.- Clean off any rust and mill scale from your practice pieces and make sure you have an excellent work (ground) connection.- Have fun.Last edited by Oldendum; 10-09-2012 at 04:28 PM."USMCPOP" First-born son: KIA Iraq 1/26/05Syncrowave 250 w/ Coolmate 3Dialarc 250, Idealarc 250SP-175 +Firepower TIG 160S (gave the TA 161 STL to the son)Lincwelder AC180C (1952)Victor & Smith O/A torchesMiller spot welder |
