Reply:That’s a nice stuff, Denny! Though, you shouldn’t compare it to theirs’ because they do heavy production of blades. And they need to secure the quality while time is being maximized. Don’t get me wrong. I would love to hear from you how you do it. How many blades you weld in a day or so.

Reply:I made a jig and have TIG welded bandsaw blades.Load the blade,trim with a cut off blade,butt them together,.023 mig wire,.040 tungsten,temper with the Turbotorch,grind flush.....good to go.Then I learned the blade shop charges 3.00 to weld the blades.....no brainer for me.I know that I can save a blade on a weekend but no point when buying new blades,for me anywho.
