I have seen a lot of welding carts on the site but I think that we should see what all of you have for your torches. I would like to see them if you are willing to post. Thanks in advance.KroekerMiller Trailblazer 302Miller Dial ArcMiller Suitcase 12RCVictor Torch

Reply:i don't see any with the OSHA mandated 30 min firewall. while it isn't mandated on IN USE torch carts many job sites require it regardless.Vantage 500's LN-25's, VI-400's, cobramatics, Miller migs, synch 350 LX, Powcon inverters, XMT's, 250 Ton Acurrpress 12' brake, 1/4" 10' Atlantic shear,Koikie plasma table W/ esab plasmas. marvel & hyd-mech saws, pirrana & metal muncher punches.
Reply:dualie-osha doesnt apply to hobbyists, and on jobs below a certain $$ size..this is my oa cart.. it sits in a shed now, i've moved my bottles hoses and torches outside into a weatherproof rubbermaid garden shed , feels safer to have it outside the house in case a valve or fitting decides its time to leak..i always had the unpleasant feeling that when i turned on the garage light a spark would ignite a crapload of acetylene.. now its outside in a plastic shed.. if i open the door and smelled gas, theres no metal to spark, just walk away..it's all 2 x 1/4 angle , plus 50 pounds of plate in the base for added stability...i made it too short and spliced 3" into the legs.. Reply:Here is my torch cart. I use a hand truck from Harbor freight.
Reply:Nice propane setup. I like the elevated propane jug to reduce bending over, and you got the hard wheels instead of the nasty pneumatic type that dry rot and go flat.

Reply:7A749.. The cart that I built looks very very similar to yours.. Same tube, same design, right down to the tray that they sit on. ..Crazy! Ill have to get a pick of mine tomorrow so you see what i mean..

Reply:Well here is my torch cart built some time in 2000 or maybe 1999. I use a #50 roller chain to hold my bottles in place. I like the chain because it forms well to the bottles and never moves around. I pull the bottles into a pcs of channel.
