Reply:i have some concerns...i'd want a little lip around the bottom so the tank cant slide in the event you come to a sudden stop..maybe a better strap than the bungee cord..those wheels have damn little plastic in the hub where the bearing is pressed in..a few sparks from cutting hits those plastic wheels and they will get weaker and if one breaks and that tips and the regulator breaks off that thing will fly all over ..
Reply:I like the trough behind it for all your 'stuff'.Weld well; grind less.
Reply:Nice looking cart....Find an old push mower with the steel spoke wheels and replace those plastic ones...quick!!!
Reply:I apperciate the concern of the plastic wheels and I will replace them. I used them because they was free. I never cut near the tanks or cart. I always unroll the hose all the way, stretch it out and away from the tanks when I cut. Don't know why just always have. Just makes me feel safer to be 15+ feet away (hose is 25ft), but this makes me wonder how close do you cut to your tanks? There is a lip on the back to keep tanks from sliding out the back on the bottom. I will find something to put on the bottom in the front. We are on our way to being farmers! Reply:What sort of welder did you use to make the cart?  If mig, did you use fluxcore?
Reply:I used a mig with flux core.We are on our way to being farmers! Our site is always under construction so check back often for updates.  http://www.philosophyfarmstyle.com/

Reply:Originally Posted by 7A749It looks good & is functional. I have seen some really hacked together stuff & for what you had to work with, it turned out just fine. Lots better than many I have seen. I would recommend a more sturdy chain or ratchet strap to hold the tanks. Them bungees give out after awhile. After you build a few more, you'll improve on design & function to get it how you want it.The inline cart I built came after building quite a few sets of running gear & it was done all on the fly with nothing more than an idea I had. I was surprised at how it turned out, being it balanced very well & is very easy to move around. I do have a few changes I want to make to it, but no time for that right now.More luck than skill on that one, I believe That's what's cool about building functional stuff you use on a regular basis. You are going to be the first one to notice what works & what does not. Thanks for sharing.
