Reply:figure time and cost of materials IIRC Filler, Gas, power used for one then multiply that by how ever many there are and bid accordingly Give them a reasonable delivery date and do not be late and you will most likely get more work from them after they are doneMiller Xmt 350Lincoln Ln-25Ahp 200xSmith Gas Mixer AR/HTig is my Kung FuThrowing down dimes and weaving aboutInstagram http://instagram.com/[email protected]
Reply:To cut the slots you could build a jig for a hand held plasma torch or farm out to someone with a CNC plasma. Looks like a pretty easy job. Like others have said figure materials and consumables then build one in your head step by step and figure time fore each step. If you have not done much stainless work, it is a little tougher to cut than carbon steel. It takes good band saw blades or cold saw blades.Dan
Reply:I could cut one of them out in short order with my little 2x2 torchmate cnc table. Stainless cuts like butter with plasma. This is a nice easy job for you.JasonLincoln Idealarc 250 stick/tigThermal Dynamics Cutmaster 52Miller Bobcat 250Torchmate CNC tableThermal Arc Hefty 2Ironworkers Local 720 |
