I picked up a Victor Cutskill 0384-2500.I want to pick up some welding tips and the LWS said I'd be better off ordering them online. They don't carry them and no one really welds with Oxy/Fuel anymore. So I started looking online for tips. I assume the tip I want is a W-1 Medium duty series but before I start spending money I wanted to make sure that was the correct tip for my setup.
Reply:have you went on thier website to see if the tips are what you need ..check out cyberweld.comalso welding tips and tricks.com
Reply:Go to Victor and ask the question. JGSMAW,GMAW,FCAW,GTAW,SAW,PAC/PAW/OFCand Shielding Gases. There all here. :
Reply:According to what I see on the web, that torch does indeed take the W-1 series of welding/brazing tips. That handle should be the same as the venerable 100fc.
Reply:Ron - I know you mostly wanted to know which Victor tips fit the series torch handle you have, and you probably already know this, but after your decide that the size tip(s) you want really depend on what you want to weld with it. I don't know about Victor, since I am a Smith and Henrob guy, but all my torches have catalog pages that tell you how thick or thin they recommend you weld with which tip. I am sure Victor must have something similar. I mostly do relatively thin bicycle tubing, but this page may help you some:http://bikesmithdesign.com/Welding/Tips.htmlLast edited by smyrna5; 12-09-2009 at 09:06 AM.Lincoln 175HD Miller AC/DC ThunderboltSmith AW1, Dillion (Henrob) Mark III, & Smith LittleTorch
