I would like to offer laser cutting sevices, but I don't know if we're allowed to advertise on this site. This got me thinking that maybe there should be a section here at weldingweb.com where weldors and fabricators can offer their services if they want. I wonder if there are people who visit this site that need something welded or made. This way they can search by region to maybe find someone nearby who can help them out. Just an idea.Anyway if anyone is interested, I have access to a laser that is capable of cutting steel from 0.006" to 0.250", stainless from 0.006" to 0.090", aluminum up to 0.040", acrylic/plexiglass up to 0.250" as well as gasket materials, etc. I can cut almost any shape imaginable up to 48"x48". I can cut larger parts with a little ingenuity. Here are some sample parts that I have made. Administrator, please move or delete this thread if it is inappropriate. Thanks. Reply:Carl26 I don't think your post is out of line. You are showing what you do. The offer is respectful and tasefully worded. You also seem to have posted before (I assume the 274 posts weren't just coppies of this! ) It's a shame you aren't closer to me, every so often I need something cut. I'd rather give the work to someone I "know". I don't think your idea is a bad one. If nothing else an addition to everyones user CP saying what services were available might do the trick. Then you could search by area or type of work needed. Thanks for the offer.
