first project

So I have been lurking around reading as much as I can. I have pissed the wife off because I will read the forum for a few hours at a time. So I got to finally got to the scrap yard and got quite a bit of steel for the welding cart and welding table. Here are a few pics of the build. It is made from 1 inch square tubing can't remember the gauge. The machine is a Lincoln 180c and straight co2. Sorry for the blurry they are with a cell phone and the angle is bad from the camera on the weld

Reply:No its actually only sparkling cider got it after my first solo from flight school i was under age at the time (10 years ago) so i got that instead of champagne.

Reply:The welders feet are a snug fit between rails its not going any where. The happy wife happy life is the truth she actually wanted to help and she did some grinding while I cut and welded even have a picture to prove it.

Reply:Hardware the 180c is the same pretty much identical other then has all aluminum wire feed block and is not a tapped machine. the dimensions on the cart are31 1/4 " length10 1/2' wide just enough so that the feet fit tightly in the machine.16'' tall without wheels 20 with wheelsthe handle is 31 1/2 off the ground cut at a 25 degree angle
