welding table 20"x70"... not wide enough? or go for the 4'x4' table

local CL has a 5/8" thick welding table that looks pretty stout.Would the fact that its only 20" wide be a huge limitation? also see a 1/2" 4'x4' table, doesn't look quite as rigid but i could opt for that instead. Similar price on both tablesESAB Heliarc 252

Reply:Paying for the top not the base.  You modify/replace the base.  More surface square foot in 4x4, too.  So even if you had to modify the top you still have more metal to work with.
